We’ve been doing literature as part of our schooling, but not very many good crafts to go specifically with the story. This week, we did a great one. We were studying fish, so we read Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale by Marcus Pfister
Then we made our very own rainbow fish!
Got a rainbow fish template from DLTK Kids. I cut it out and she glued it to a piece of construction paper. She colored the face and added a googly eye. Then she finger printed it in three different colors with giant stamp pads.
Then we had to add glitter for the special silvery fin
She added water lines underneath and signed her name. She also wrote a F and f in the upper corner (Who knew little f’s were so hard to write?)
Come join us at A Mommy’s Adventure for more great stART – A Story and Art projects!
