Halloween

So, I really meant to put these up way sooner, but oh well, naps happen :)
Here's some pictures from Halloween. Kahlen LOVED her "Tigger Jacket" and keeps wanting to wear it every time she sees it, so I had to hide it and hope she never finds it!

We went downtown Fort Collins in the morning, which was an absolute nightmarish zoo. We didn't know that the schools were out, so there were about 10 times more kids than last year. I wish I had taken a picture, but it was crazy! For every store that was handing out candy, you had to stand in a long line. Needless to say, we didn't stay very long.

In the evening, we went to a friend's mom's house in Loveland, hoping to allow the kiddos some time to play together and to go trick-or-treating there. Well, one of the families couldn't make it and the other toddler got sick right before we got there, so Kahlen got to play by herself, which she didn't seem to mind too much. She loved the trick-or-treating; she would walk up to the house, push the "ding-dong" and say "tricktreat" to the delight of the people answering the door. Then she would run down the path saying "More candy, more ding-dong, more tricktreat?" We were only out for about 30 minutes, but she got more candy than she'll ever be able to eat. More for me :)

When we were leaving at 11:00 PM after playing games for several hours, we got outside by our car, and Kahlen wanted to know "more ding-dong? more candy?" Overall, it was a good day!
